The Headmasters’ & Headmistresses’ Conference (HMC)  is a professional association of heads of the world’s leading independent schools.

The marketing team had developed a new website: https://hmcteachingcareers.org.uk/ to promote the independent school jobs that their members were recruiting for.

HMC got in touch with Challis Marketing to increase the number of relevant users on the website.

The Method

We first developed the strategy and planning side of the project including: Personas, Paid Marketing Strategy and Budget Planning.

The next step was to analyse the current SEO set-up, and make on-page technical and content changes. We then implemented off-page SEO tactics and created further copy for the website.

The Results

The website has seen a 500% increase in traffic overall (May 2020 compared to May 2019) and a 1,246.88% increase in Organic Search traffic!
